Meanwhile, Reth Evie’s ex-boyfriend and faerie is trying to make Evie fall for him again. This make up the love-story line of the book. After finding the shape-shifter(Lend as in lend me your body) she finds a companion in him. So, Evie helps find these paranormals that roam freely and track them so that they don’t cause trouble for the human race. Faeries wear glamours to look normal on earth, because no one ever forgets a faerie face and faeries can be recognised by their too-perfect-and-beautiful-to-be-human-face.
Werewolves have yellow eyes to distinguish them from the crowds and they are harmless until full-moon. Vampires live for a long time so even though they may look attractive on the outside, Evie sees their repulsive dried-up bones and corpse-like bodies underneath. Evie (Evelyn) finds him because how much ever the paranormals hide their real appearance underneath their glamours, Evie can see through the glamours and identify the paranormal according to their real skin. Along with all of the already-weird paranormals, a teenage shape-shifter breaks into (IPCA) the containment center and searches for clues as to what the feared prophecy is. Vampires, Werewolves, Faeries, Hags and many other fantastical characters make an appearance in the book.
Following the story of Evelyn, an agent working for the International Paranormal Containment Agency, the story is all about the paranormal activities happening around the whole world.
